The Reisman foundation is pro-active in seeking grant proposals from qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations as well as accepting unsolicited proposals.
An initial letter of inquiry should be brief and must be submitted on the organization letterhead (or attached in the Contact Us form here). The initial letter of inquiry should include:
- Organization Name
- Street Address
- Zip Code
- Phone Number
- Fax Number
- Contact Name
- Contact Title
- Email Address
- The background of the organization
- A description of the proposed project detailing the time and anticipated outcomes
- A detailed project budget
Our preferred method of initial contact is through email which will allow the organization to include attachments to provide the required information.
The Reisman Foundation will contact the organization with a response and further instructions as required.

The Dorothy and Marshall M. Reisman Foundation was founded in 1991 to continue the Reisman's long cherished tradition of giving.
